These courses are designed for registered nurses, medical doctors, dentists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners looking to expand their skill set into aesthetic medicine. However, this course is not for individuals without a medical background, such as medical assistants and estheticians.

This course is open to anyone who is interested in an aesthetic medspa business venture. Although the attendee does not require a medical background, it is always preferred.

This course includes a didactic portion in the first half of the day, covering the 3 FDA approved areas for treatment (forehead lines, crows feet, and glabellar lines). In the afternoon, attendees will have an opportunity for a hands-on experience using a live model.

This course includes a didactic portion in the first half of the day, reviewing lips, nasolabial folds, and cheeks. In the afternoon, attendees will have an opportunity for a hands-on experience using a live model.

This course includes injection techniques, how to identify danger zones, as well as the dissection of a cadaver (ensuring proper placement of product and an in depth understanding of facial anatomy). Additionally, you’ll gain insights from an anatomist and seasoned professionals, including networking opportunities.

Attendees MUST bring their own model. If you cannot provide a model, AIA staff can provide one for a $100 fee. Advanced notice must be given for proper arrangement.

Yes, AIA will provide a certificate of completion for the following courses: Botox course, Dermal Filler course, and Cadaver course.

Yes we currently offer CME (a maximum of 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 credits for the Cadaver course ONLY) Where are the courses located?

The Cadaver Dissection course is located at:

Wayne State University, School of Medicine, 540 Canfield St, Detroit, MI 48201.

The Botox course is 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch break (lunch will be provided for you).

The Dermal Filler course is 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch break (lunch will be provided for you).

The Cadaver course spans over 2 days, each day from 10am to 3pm. Lunch will NOT be provided for the Cadaver course due to sanitary reasons.
